Food Farmacy Update: Our Military Affairs and Veterans Department with Feeding Northeast Florida announce new times for both Food Farmacy locations:

🥪 NAS Jacksonville: Now from 9am to 11am on the 1st and 3rd Thursday each month at 5391 Collins Rd. The next food distribution is this Thursday, June 4th.

🥣 Naval Station Mayport: Now from 9am to 11am on the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month at 390 Mayport Rd. The next food distribution at this location is Thursday, June 11th.

We lost a long time Shipmate last month, Roger "Fossil" Long. There will be a Celebration of Life for Roger at the American Legion Post 316 June 6th at 2 PM.

Honoring Our Departed Veterans: Memorial Day Flag Placement.

In honor of Memorial Day, the Fleet Reserve Association Branch 290 invites volunteers to assist in placing flags on veterans' graves at Beaches Memorial Park.
• Location: Beaches Memorial Park, 1500 Main Street, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 (Corner of Levy Rd. and Main St.)
• Flag Placement: Friday, May 22nd at 2:00 PM
• Flag Removal: Tuesday, May 26th at 2:00 PM
Community volunteers are greatly appreciated as we come together to honor our departed service members.
