Wally is taking it easy today. It’s raining so he is staying inside on a cozy blanket. Wally is a feline leukemia positive guy. He loves being cozy and laying on anyone’s lap that will let him. He is a very sweet boy. ♥️

Update #2

Arty is still hospitalized. He had a second blood transfusion and is on special chemo medication for his condition. He is doing much better! ♥️

Our sweet Arty needs our sanctuary family to rally around him.

Over the past week, Arty started showing subtle signs of feeling unwell. We got him on antibiotics immediately, but despite our best efforts, his medicine wasn't taking hold and he dropped a noticeable amount of weight very quickly. We brought him in to see our vet, and when his bloodwork results came back and the news was urgent. Arty needed an immediate, life-saving blood transfusion.
Living with feline leukemia means simple setbacks can quickly become serious battles for a cat's body.

Transfusions and critical care require rapid resources, but we refuse to let cost stand between Arty and the care he desperately needs. If you are able to help us fund his emergency procedure, please consider donating on our website or mailing a check to our address.

We can only step up in critical moments like this because of dedicated, compassionate people like you who choose to stand by the sanctuary cats and be a part of their lives. Arty has so much gentle love to offer, and he deserves every fighting chance to heal.

Who is this unbelievably adorable kitty you ask? This is Moby. He is one of the three Cobb kitties we took in a while back with feline leukemia. When he first came to us with FeLV, we knew he was special but we had no idea just how quickly he’d steal every single heart.
Moby is pure unconditional love. The second you walk into his house he’s right there waiting for head scratches, chin rubs, and all the snuggles he can get. He’s the kind of cat who makes your worst day instantly better just by leaning into your hand. With that face he can get whatever he wants and he knows it. Try saying "no" to him. Go ahead, try! It’s impossible. Moby runs the show in his house honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

Every single morning at our sanctuary starts with a rounds check. We go from house to house, checking in on the cats who count on us for a second chance at life. Some days are full of purrs and headbutts; other days, we’re adjusting dosage schedules, administering fluids, or helping a sick cat find the comfort they need to eat a meal.

Right now, our medical bills are higher than they have ever been. Loving and rescuing sanctuary cats especially those with severe, chronic, or critical illnesses means committing to their health no matter what.
We currently have sweet souls undergoing chemotherapy treatments to fight off cancer. We have a brave kitty battling FIP receiving daily lifesaving medications that were once considered impossible to get. Others are recovering from or surgeries or getting blood transfusions, alongside our routine care for cats with chronic conditions.

Every doctor visit, every prescription, and every surgery adds up fast. Medical bills are overwhelming, but giving up on these cats is never an option for us.

Helping these cats out has never tasted better! We are running a Popcorn Fundraiser to directly support the sanctuary’s medical fund. The popcorn store has some of the absolute best, most delicious flavors. They are giving 50% of every single sale directly back to our cats.

Sweet Ray is on the verge of a life changing fresh start, and he needs his whole sanctuary family cheering him on!

This sweet boy has been bravely dealing with severe stomatitis. This is an extremely painful condition where his mouth becomes inflamed. It’s made simple everyday joys like eating and grooming painful for him, but the best news is that relief is finally in sight. Ray is getting ready to have his teeth removed on Wednesday. This procedure will completely knock out that pain.

If you know Ray, you know that being completely blind has never dimmed his bright, joyful spirit. He is easily one of the most loving, affectionate cats you could ever meet. The second he hears your voice or senses you’re near, his purr motor starts up, and he immediately reaches out to guide your hand right to his favorite chin scratch spot. He lives for affection.

Please send Ray your highest energy, warmest thoughts, and sweetest vibes as he gets ready for his big day! He’s going to bounce back happier than ever.

Midnight is a sweet, very senior girl came to us from southern Florida, where she spent over ten long years surviving outside on her own after being left behind by her former owners. When we welcomed her into the sanctuary, she made a truly royal entrance. She flew all the way here on a private airplane with just her and the pilot!

Today, Midnight has healed wonderfully from a major surgery she had several months ago. She manages hip dysplasia, but she doesn't let it keep her down. Because jumping isn't easy for her anymore, one of the thoughtful caretakers installed a custom ground-floor window in her space so she can comfortably lounge and watch the outdoors.

Midnight adores human attention and loves coming right up to caretakers for head scratches and pets. She firmly prefers not to share her space with other felines. To keep her completely content, she has a whole cat house all to herself! You can almost always find her snoozing peacefully in her absolute favorite chair.
After a decade of being forgotten, Midnight has the safety, comfort, and royal treatment she always deserved. We love this sweet old girl beyond words!
