East Atlanta Business Association The East Atlanta Business Association (EABA) strives to create cohesion and communication between businesses in the Village as well as East Atlanta as a whole.

Come see why the Washington Post calls East Atlanta the best kept secret in Atlanta, the Creative Loafing calls us the epitome of cool and a neighborhood's neighborhood. The New York Times says our neighborhood is reaching the crest in what has been a steadily rising wave of cool. As business owners in this popular Atlanta neighborhood, we can tell you this is a GREAT place to live, work and play.

Wonderful restaurants, shops and of course, people! Every day we see new improvements to the neighborhood – whether it is a new store or a home being remodeled, things are constantly evolving. East Atlanta Village is a pedestrian-friendly village with a reputation for being hip and cool. Sometimes described as quirky, East Atlanta is home to eclectic clothing boutiques, a seasonal farmer's market, restaurants, pubs and music venues offering live entertainment almost every night of the week. Annual events include the East Atlanta Village STRUT (September), a neighborhood street party that serves as a fundraiser for such organizations as the East Atlanta Community Association. Also on the East Atlanta Village calendar of events are the East Atlanta Beer Festival (May), and the Brownwood Park Bike Rally (June). Another East Atlanta Village celebration, the Battle of Atlanta Festival (July), serves as a reminder that much of the Civil War Battle of Atlanta was fought in and around the neighborhood.

..But it's first come, first served, y'all, so get here EARLY if ya want 'em! Last week, we sold out of the single flat we had by 4:10pm ;) It's a beautiful day and I know lotsa y'all are on Summer break, so come out early and stay a while!

We've got a full house today, complete with 2 brand new vendors - Authentic by Kinsey treats and Kwanzaa Chai! We also have our friends at LifeSouth with the Blood Donation van (see details below!) and neighbor Ms. Aubrey is here to teach us how to preserve our fave fresh fruits for the rest of the year. Perfect timing, since we are at that perfect time of year, when we've got peaches, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and more ALL AT ONE TIME! AWW YESSSS!

REMINDER! Today is pretty fair weather, but we always have water, electrolytes and bug lotion/spray if you need it - just ask for it at the Info Booth!

LifeSouth will be joining the EAV Farmers Market on select Thursdays this Spring and Summer! Do good and donate blood in the safety of their van in the market space, and relax with us at the market!

Y'all showed UP last week for our very first blood drive at EAV Farmers Market, despite the rainy weather! I am happy to share that we were able to host 8 donors, which will help at least 24 hospital patients in need! WOW WOW WOW!

WELCOME TO: East Atlanta Comics

This EAV Main Street has done big things in such a small amount of time. first opened their doors on Flat Shoals in 2024 with a super dope storefront mural and a dream of staying involved in the community they want to thrive in. Owner Zach has now opened a second location focused on gaming, called Dice City, just around the corner.

Not only has this provided an outlet for shoppers and community members to explore, gather and create within the comic and gaming world, but it has also stayed true to its commitment of giving back. Zach has stepped up as the new East Atlanta Business Association president as of the Spring of 2026 and we're so lucky to have him.

This is what EAV Main Street is all about. Small businesses thriving because the community cares.

The Friends of East Atlanta Library Book Donation Days are coming up starting this Saturday, May 30, from 1-4pm! They are accepting donations of books on designated days and times for their upcoming Summer Reading Book Sale on June 6! Meet them in the lobby of the East Atlanta Library with your donations! Please review the guidelines to know what they can not accept.

They are looking for kids and teens books but also adult books - all genres! Do not donate textbooks, smelly or torn books, dictionaries/thesaurus, cookbook series or specific diet books and others mentioned on the flyer.

Please do not drop off books at the library outside these designated times. The library has limited space and staff is not allowed to accept donations. They have volunteers scheduled for these days/times to take your donations. If you have questions about your donation, you can message the library on Facebook or at [email protected]. Thank you in advance for your donation!

RAIN OR SHINE, you've got the GREEN(S) LIGHT to come through, shop local, and hang out with us! I'm sure y'all have noticed, but it is hot and humid (and a bit stormy!) again, so this is your reminder that we will be out here with open arms, happy to provide water, electrolytes and bug lotion/spray if you need it!

Did you know your SNAP/EBT dollars can be used to buy edible plants and seeds?! As always, families using EBT/SNAP benefits can make their dollars go TWICE as far at the farmers market. (Psssst- We have additional $ bonuses for returning and first-time SNAP shoppers, and those who introduce their friends to this program... Visit us at the Info Booth to learn more!)
