CHILI FEST IS COMING — AND WE’RE BRINGING BACK THE CARS!

The Great Bowls of Fire Chili Fest returns October 17 at Camp Landing Entertainment District, and this year we’re bringing back something we haven’t done in a while — a Car Show!

Bring your ride, bring your friends, and enjoy a day of chili, cars, community, and fun while supporting Ashland Community Kitchen.

Every day at Ashland Community Kitchen, our kitchen team works hard to prepare hot, nutritious meals for our neighbors who need them.

Every tray represents a meal. Every meal represents someone in our community who didn’t have to go hungry.

Foot health is important to overall health. Part of Good foot health is clean socks, which we try to provide to all of our clients.

How can you help? Donating socks to the Dressing Room allows us to get these needed items to our clients.

Whether it's a school classroom collecting, a church group collecting, or just an individual wanting to make a difference, and easy way is donating socks.

A big THANK YOU to the Ashland Breakfast Kiwanis for supporting Ashland Community Kitchen! Club President D.J. Rymer stopped by with a generous donation of oatmeal for the kitchen.

And oatmeal is something we use often! If you want to help, you can drop off donations of Oatmeal at the The Neighborhood Ashland or make a financial contribution to help us purchase the food and supplies we need most.

Funds go to UWNEK Bridge Builders and RAPP Programs. Students from Paul Blazer, Boyd County and Fairview High Schools plan and host this race as a volunteer project through UWNEK. Flat with long straight-a-ways through downtown Ashland on city streets. Runners start and finish at the Boyd County Public Library. This is the City of Ashland 5K course.
$30 Aug. 17th thru Aug. 27th .. $35 Race Day
