Join us this weekend for Community Conversation as we celebrate 100 years of Black History Month and the legacy of Springwood Avenue.

APAC is a proud participant in the Springwood Avenue Heritage Walk Collaborative Partner Group. Together, the group launched an award-winning virtual walk honoring Springwood Avenue’s rich past. Now we're working together to install physical markers along the Avenue to celebrate its cultural heritage. Plus, community events will uplift this important history.

This weekend, in honor of the 100th Year of Black History Month, two of the founding organizations behind the Heritage Walk are hosting Community Conversation. Hosted by Tyrone Laws, this open dialogue brings together local leaders and residents to reflect on the legacy of the West Side, and shape what comes next.

📅 Sunday, February 22
🕜 1:30–4:00 PM (Program at 2:15 PM)
📍 Launch Center, 1201 Springwood Ave #104

Presented with Interfaith Neighbors and Springwood Avenue Rising.
