We are open today, January 30th, and have free bike parts(headlights, bells, brake cables, derailleur cables, pedals, seats) if you need them. We will also fix your flat for free. Let us know what you need. We believe in strong communities, collective solidarity and helping others.

Our favorite annual tradition! We are giving away 100 refurbished little kids bikes today(Saturday 12/20/25) starting at 10am until we run out(which is usually around 12 noon). The bikes are 20" wheeled and smaller which are appropriate for 3-8 year olds. Adult/parent/guardian must be present.

Illiterate Light is a band known for it's bike-powered stage at the legendary Newport Folk Festival. This month they are biking from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia to Newport RI and stopping in Asbury Park along the way. Come to the old carousel building on the southern end of the AP boardwalk on Friday, July 18th at 5:45pm to meet the band and then do a 45-minute bike ride with them around Asbury Park and Ocean Grove. The bike ride will end at the Transparent Clinch Gallery where they will perform a free show at 7pm. Come! It will be fun!

The Asbury Park Half Marathon is Saturday, April 4/5. They are looking for at least 2 bike riders to be the lead bikes in front of the runners. Who wants to do it?! You would have to be ready to roll by around 8:15am. Respond here and I will give you the contact information you need.
