We were lucky enough to have a few volunteers join us from Shore Business Solutions to help create hygiene kits for all our students at Sisters Academy! They also created over two dozen new mom bags and two dozen first aid kits that will be hand out at our pantry. Wow talk about impact!

May was another busy month here at Mercy Center!
📆 It was Mental Health Awareness Month

🍎 We served over 1,500 households through our food pantry.

💪 We welcomed several food and hygiene supply drives from our local community.

🐟 We received our first fish gleaning delivery and are looking forward to diversifying the protein we offer at our pantry.

Thank you to the students of High Tech High School Key Club for their recent donation of hygiene kits! Being able to hand out these bags of essentials to our neighbors at the pantry makes all the difference, especially going into warmer months. Being able to provide more than just food at the pantry is not just about creating convenience for our neighbors in need but helping to restore dignity and close the need gap.

Thank you so much to the Avon by the Sea First Aid Squad for choosing Mercy Center to benefit from their food drive! They collected 2,340lbs of food which equates to 1,800 meals. Thank you to all who participated!

Mercy Center's offices and pantry will be closing early today, 5/22, at 1:00pm and will remain closed through Monday, 5/25, in honor of the Memorial Day holiday. This means that there will be no Saturday pantry hours this weekend as well. We will reopen to our regular operating hours on Tuesday, 5/26.
