Fighting for our youth by expanding resources and changing the narrative surrounding Mental Health and building up our childrens Mental Strength and resilience. Her smile was infectious, and her heart was enormous. She had a drive and LOVE for Soccer, number #99 and her favorite color was Purple/Pink. She lived in New Jersey with her amazing pare
nts, Fred and Soly and her sister, Keira and she loved the Smashing Pumpkins. Like every other 14-year-old, teenage life was a struggle, friendships, clicks, etc. Some who never embraced Jocey for the unique, beautiful person she truly was or maybe weren’t dealing with their own issues decided to deflect onto her. Broken and forever empty, Fred and Soly held each person that walked into their daughter's funeral and hugged them tightly and said, “Let’s Do BETTER ''. No matter how shattered they were they supported others and didn’t want anyone else to hurt as they were. I ask you to PLEASE join us to make a difference, show others that there are places to go, there are ways to deal with your emotions, and there are communities that will accept YOU just the way you are. Life has so much to offer EVERYONE. Let’s show the unkind how to be KIND. Let’s show the ones that struggle with handling their emotions, that there are ways to cope, and these communities of KINDNESS are COOL. Be a part of this meaningful movement that affects all of our lives in one way or another!!! A change that cannot wait; a change that needs to happen now. These teenagers are struggling, and we have to show them that we are here for them, that they exist, and they are ENOUGH…
