The single most important step a homeowner or business can take to ensure safe, effective, and compliant pest control, is hire a licensed pesticide applicator. Having a license ensures consumers and the environment are protected.

You can easily check if a pest control business holds a current commercial pesticide applicator license by using the pesticide applicator search portal. Find it and more information at https://ag.colorado.gov/press-release/hiring-pest-control-for-mountain-pine-beetles-or-other-forest-pests-beware-of.

Last night’s storm left heavy snow damage across Colorado, with broken limbs, split trees, and hazardous hanging branches creating serious safety risks for homes, vehicles, and neighborhoods.

When storm damage happens, it’s important to hire a licensed and insured professional arborist — not just anyone with a chainsaw. Storm-damaged trees can be unpredictable and dangerous, especially around homes, power lines, and roadways.

Professional arborists have the training, equipment, and insurance needed to safely:
🌲 Remove hazardous limbs
🌲 Assess structural tree damage
🌲 Protect surrounding property
🌲 Prevent additional safety risks
🌲 Handle cleanup responsibly

Colorado Arborists and Lawn Care Professionals are ready to help communities recover safely after the storm.
