Jesus is the way to wholeness. We are humans — tempted, wounded, imperfect. Sin is part of this broken world. God wants us to be like Christ, dying to self, serving others as a part of the body of Christ. But there are things that can get in our way. Obstacles known and unknown that interfere with our sense of peace and worthiness.

We can study and know about Jesus in our minds, but Jesus wants relationship with us. He wants our heart! It is through Him that we will find our help. It’s His strength and His healing work in us that brings us closer to wholeness.

When we heal we grow, we love more fully, we become more and more who God created us to be.

Healing is the work of Christ in us. But we have to be willing to dig deep, to be vulnerable and authentic, to ask for forgiveness.

A Women’s Walk With Christ Weekend can be the catalyst for healing you’re looking for. It can be a quiet space to connect with God and deepen your faith. It is a place to bring things into the light, so you can leave them with Jesus. It is a unique and profound experience some say is life changing.

Authenticity : true to one's own personality, spirit, or character; real; not false

There are many reasons why you might not show up authentically in life. You may have been hurt when you did. Shamed. Maybe you are afraid that if you were authentic people wouldn’t accept you or you would be judged. And that would feel terrible.

Being authentic takes courage and trust. And it’s the only way you can be fully known. That’s all any of us really want, isn’t it? To be fully known and loved fully.

You can take off “your mask” on a Women’s Walk With Christ Weekend and be you! Maybe for the 1st time in your life? It’s when you stand as your truest self that God can help you discover new things about yourself and lead you to make new connections and to release things you might be holding onto.
