The fight for racial justice remains ongoing. At MIA, we champion diversity, inclusivity, and equality among our staff and youth. We actively engage with our youth in discussions about their history, identity, positionality, and perspectives on the current state of the world. As a staff, we are dedicated to lifelong learning and encourage our community to join us in this commitment.

On Tuesday night, this incredible young woman stepped onto the Dazzle stage and performed her original poem "Something" and brought the entire room to its feet. 👏

Her words, her courage, and her voice are powerful beyond measure.

✨ Last night was pure magic. ✨
THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support Gold & Maddox, HOME, and our very own MIA Youth Artist Trinity Johnson, who absolutely SHONE on that stage. 💛
We raised $4,000 to support MIA youth and our mission to disrupt the prison pipeline. That's community in action!

Restorative Theatre™ creates spaces of healing, belonging, and bold self-expression, and the youth at Montclair Recreation Center just showed us exactly what that looks like. 🌟

Through our partnership with Denver Parks & Recreation, youth at Montclair didn't just perform a play, they created one! What followed was a wild adventure through dinosaur encounters, magical potions, and shimmering portals, all in pursuit of a legendary golden mountain.

This is what Mirror Image Arts is all about!
