It’s almost here. THIS WEEKEND marks the first major event in PeaceJam’s 30th Anniversary celebrations! 🎉🌍

The 2026 PeaceJam Ghana Youth Conference is bringing together inspiring young leaders for a powerful weekend of connection, action, and peacebuilding, joined by 2014 Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi as host Laureate.

Centered around the theme “Compassion Without Borders,” this year’s conference will celebrate the power of empathy, courage, and youth leadership to create meaningful change across communities and borders.

We can’t wait to see this incredible gathering come to life in Ghana! ✨

This week, 22 years ago, young people from across Colorado gathered at Red Rocks Community College in Denver for a PeaceJam Youth Conference with Nobel Peace Laureate Joseph Rotblat on May 8–9, 2004.

Dr. Rotblat was awarded the 1995 Nobel Peace Prize for his lifelong work toward a world free of nuclear weapons.

Just one year later, in 2005, Dr. Rotblat passed away, making this one of the final PeaceJam conferences to feature his remarkable voice for peace.

As we continue celebrating PeaceJam’s 30th anniversary, we’re honoring the leaders and moments that have inspired generations of young changemakers around the world.
