πŸ‘οΈ MAKING A DIFFERENCE β€” ONE PERSON, ONE COMMUNITY, ONE VISION AT A TIME

This morning, the Rotary Club of Arlington was honored to welcome via Zoom Dr. Anshu Chandra, who shared the inspiring work of the Global Eye Project and its mission to bring sustainable, high-quality eye care to people in need in rural Haiti.

What makes the Global Eye Project especially powerful is its focus on creating lasting change. In addition to providing critical eye care, the organization trains and employs local people to care for members of their own communities β€” building skills, independence and access to care for the future.

The impact is remarkable:
πŸ‘οΈ 141,000+ free eye exams
❀️ 7,200+ advanced treatments
πŸ‘“ 200+ surgeries β€” and counting!

Clear vision can mean so much more than simply being able to see. It can provide independence, open doors to education and employment, strengthen families and help lift communities out of poverty.

We are grateful to Dr. Chandra for joining us this morning and sharing her passion, dedication and the incredible work being accomplished through the Global Eye Project. Until September 20, 2026 there is a donor match for every dollar given to the project.

We invite our friends and community to learn more, share their story, and help spread the word about this important work:

Service Above Self can reach far beyond our own community. Together, we can help others see a brighter future. πŸ’™πŸ’›

We provide daily eye care across India, Haiti.
