For years, I’ve carried a hope in my heart — to bring clean water to a village in Guatemala that will transforms lives. Not just in a moment, but for generations. A project rooted in dignity, empowerment, and love.
That moment is here.
In a volcanic mountain area of Guatemala, an Indigenous Kaqchikel community has built something extraordinary: a community center created by local Guatemalans, for local villagers. It’s a place where children learn, where parents gain skills and support, where culture and language are honored, and where families begin to see a future filled with possibility.
But they are missing something essential — consistent clean, treated water.
Right now, the center is doing so much. But imagine what becomes possible when the center and community have continual access to safe water to drink, cook with, wash with, and use for health and education programs. They will no longer have to purchase expensive bottled water, or drink contaminated water. Imagine the pride of local leaders running and managing this center to be able to provide this.
This well will change so much.
Guatemala Aid Fund has spent more than 25 years walking alongside Guatemalan changemakers. Their model is simple and powerful: support programs that are locally led, locally staffed, and locally sustained. No handouts. No dependency. Just opportunity, dignity, and efficient long-term change.
This is why I’m asking for your help.
Together — with the doTERRA matching grant program and your donations we can get $10k towards our goal! — we can bring clean water to a community that is already doing the hard work of lifting itself up. We can stand with them in a way that honors their leadership, their culture, and their dreams.
If this speaks to your heart the way it speaks to mine, I invite you to join me.
Let’s help drill this well. Let’s help this community thrive. Let’s be part of a story of hope that will ripple outward for years to come.
