A New Opportunity for Our ACTors

The next reveal in ACT's 35th Anniversary Season is The Diary of Anne Frank.

This production is part of a new audition-based program for teen performers designed to deepen acting technique, challenge artists with meaningful material, and explore the power of theatre as a tool for empathy, reflection, and dialogue.

Through this program, participants will engage in advanced actor training while bringing an important story to life for both the ACT community and local schools.

As we continue to grow, we're excited to create new opportunities for young people seeking rigorous artistic experiences while using theatre to spark conversation and connection.

🎢 We're All In This Together! 🎢

The next show in ACT's 35th Anniversary Season is Disney's High School Musical Jr.

As we spent the past year listening to our community and planning for ACT's future, one area we were especially excited to grow was programming for middle school performers.

That's why ACT will be offering two productions specifically for performers in grades 5–9 during our anniversary season.

Filled with unforgettable songs, big energy, and a message about friendship, belonging, and being yourself, High School Musical Jr. is the perfect addition to this exciting new chapter for ACT.

✨ A New Tradition Begins ✨

The next reveal in ACT's 35th Anniversary Season is something especially meaningful: an original holiday play written by local playwright Max Moline.

This production marks the launch of an exciting new initiative at ACT: a commitment to featuring new works by local playwrights as part of our season each year.

As an organization dedicated not only to developing young artists, but also supporting creativity in our broader community, we're thrilled to help bring new stories to life and introduce audiences to original theatrical works.

We're honored to kick off this program with a brand-new holiday play written by our very own Max Moline.

At its heart, Newsies is a story about young people discovering the power of their voices, standing up for what they believe in, and creating change together. It's a celebration of courage, leadership, community, and the impact young people can have when they work toward a common goal.

We can't wait to bring this inspiring story to the ACT stage and there's still more to come...
