As comes to a close, we're reminded that supporting older adults is work that continues year-round. Each May, the Administration for Community Living leads the nation’s observance of Older Americans Month, recognizing the contributions of older adults, highlighting aging trends, and reaffirming our commitment to serving older Americans.

We're excited to carry that commitment forward through a new partnership between APHSA and the National Council on Aging. Together, we'll advance community-driven strategies that improve access to services, strengthen care coordination, and create more responsive systems for older adults and people with disabilities. This collaboration reflects a shared belief that lasting impact happens when communities, systems, and people work together to create solutions that center dignity, choice, and opportunity.

We are honored to join our partners at the European Social Network this week in Malta for !

During today’s APHSA session—a discussion on assessing agency readiness for systems change—President & CEO Reggie B***a joined senior members of our Process Innovation team, Nana Sasu and Blake Turpin, along with our consultant Erinna Hinds, who brings not only lived expertise navigating across programs, but also professional expertise leading organizations through transition and change. Their core message: We all have a role to play in helping ensure government agencies are prepared to collaborate with communities and advance aligned improvements that better meet people’s needs.

This conversation is part of APHSA’s broader initiative, which is driving a more aligned, customer-centered ecosystem of supports and services. As agencies continue efforts to build more modern, human-centered systems, cross-agency and community collaboration remain critical.
