🦁 COMMUNITY CLUB SPOTLIGHT | Roche-A-Cri Lions Club

For more than 50 years, the Roche-A-Cri Lions Club has been bringing people together through service, volunteerism, and community involvement right here in Adams County!

Chartered in 1972, the club continues to give its time and energy to projects and activities that provide opportunities for our community to gather, have fun, and connect.

You may recognize some of their work through Lions Park in Arkdale, summer softball, the winter tubing hill, and of course Roche-A-Cri Lions REC Days—an annual community tradition featuring activities like softball, a parade, live music, raffles, and more.

But behind all of those events are volunteers giving their time to make them happen.

👏 Thank you to the Roche-A-Cri Lions Club and its members for more than five decades of service to our community!

Wife of Lion Keith Luebke

Beverly Ann Luebke, age 83, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Cranberry Court memory care surrounded by the love of her family.

A funeral service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1517 24th St. S in Wisconsin Rapids on Friday, September 4, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m-12 p.m with the service to follow at noon. The family will lay Beverly to rest with a private service in Tisch Mills, WI.

The family would like to thank Cranberry Court memory care & the St. Croix hospice staff for their exceptional care of Beverly.

Beverly will be remembered for her strength, grace, creativity, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Beverly’s name.

We are less than a week away. Preparations are moving along nicely and we are getting ready to serve you the best chicken dinner you will ever eat! Fresh sweet corn from Flyte Farms and all the fixings along with tender juicy slow roasted chicken over charcoal. We also have a ton of fun things to do! So come on out enjoy some food and and a few beverages with your friends and neighbors and say goodbye to summer in style!! Hope to see you there.
