Juneteenth is a time to reflect and act.

It marks the end of slavery in the U.S.—but not the end of anti-Black racism. Anti-Blackness continues to shape systems, narratives, and identities, including the experiences of Black Indigenous Peoples whose histories and voices have too often been erased.

The dunes bloom for everyone! 🌸 The images in this collage have been taken at or near restored areas at the Humboldt Coastal Nature foredune. 🌈 Together, the native flora and fauna that inhabit these incredible coastal ecosystems create a diverse assemblage of species that bring color, joy, and health to the dunes. 🌱 We hope to see you out here soon! 💓
