New Horizons Fox Valley Swing Band
The New Horizons Fox Valley Swing Band is a teaching swing band for adults who like to play easy-to-play swing/jazz music -- AND we are growing.
We welcome musicians who have been skillfully playing their chosen instrument for at least two years, can read music proficiently, and follow a sheet music “road map”. We are presently looking for additional trombone, trumpet and tenor sax musicians, and a bass player.
Our ten-week Spring session has just begun – and it is NOT too late to join us! Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Xavier High School. For more information and registration, visit https://nhfvswing.com/.

Registration for the New Horizons Orchestra 2026 Spring Session is open!
Registration closes March 3rd. You must be registered by March 3rd to participate in the 2026 Spring Session.

2026 Spring Session Details:

10 rehearsals, Tuesday evenings, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM: March 10th through May 12th.

Planned concert for Tuesday evening May 19th.

Tuition – $115

All rehearsals at First English Lutheran Church (north site), 6331 North Ballard Road, Appleton, WI.

Registration for Spring 2026 is February 17th – March 3rd. You must be registered by March 3rd to participate in the 2026 Spring session.
Spring Session music will be provided for your use in a folder, issued at the first rehearsal. All music and the folder must be returned, in good condition, at the end of the last rehearsal.

Registration Opens May 20th for NHOFV Summer Session
2025 Summer Session Details:
* Registration for the 2025 Summer Session opens May 20th.

* 6 rehearsals, Tuesday evenings, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM: June 10, 17, 24 & July 8, 15, 22.

* Tuition – $70.

* All rehearsals at First English Lutheran Church, north site, 6331 North Ballard Road, Appleton, WI.

* No concert, no beginner or intermediate group instruction.

* Registration is May 20th – June 3rd. Registration deadline is June 3rd, 2025. You must be registered by June 3rd to participate in the 2025 Summer session.

🎶🎄♥️😃 The NHBFV Ensemble has been busy spreading Holiday Cheer throughout the Fox Valley! Their performance at Appleton Retirement Community this past Thursday was filled with joyful music of the season and marked the fifth of eight concerts they'll perform in the three weeks of December leading up to Christmas. 🎶♥️⛄️🎄 Wishing you all a Joy-Filled Holiday Season!
