I didn't know that you would be the one to hold and rock my baby when I wasn't there. I didn't know you. I didn't know how intertwined our lives would become. I know you now. I'll never be able to think of my child's life without thinking of you.

Saturday, September 21, 2013 - 9:00AM5K Run/Walk Registration Cap: 1,500Run, jog or walk the exciting 3.1 mile course, starting and finishing at Riverside Park in Neenah. Not only does the course feature flat terrain and residential neighborhoods, the final mile is along beautiful Lake Winnebago. Finishing at the same location as the Sunday Marathon & Half Marathon participants, you'll experience an energy and excitement unmatched at any other 5K event! All participants will receive a custom-printed short-sleeve technical shirt, finisher medal, and post-race refreshments.The Affinity Medical Group Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine 5K Run/Walk is also stroller and dog friendly! The little riders and furry friends do not need to be registered.

Glen Lappen passed away at the age of 87 on June 20th. This man, fought hard in the Navy for World War 2 on USS Slyvania for his country. He was a hard worker for his family and the 30+ years he put in at Thillmany Mill in Kaukauna. He shared 62yrs of his life with his amazing wife Patricia Lappen whe he loved unconditionally. He was amazing grandfather, father, brother and a great friend . He was a hero for not only myself and his family but America as well. May he rest in peace. So please share this with your friends or on your page for not just him but for all who died for our freedom WE all have. Love you!
