Help us congratulate Apopka Sports Hall of Fame Inductee 2026, Ms. Sheronda Wright! 🥇

Sheronda is a dedicated leader, mentor, and healthcare professional whose journey of excellence and service began at Apopka High School. As a freshman, she made an immediate impact by earning a spot on the varsity basketball team, helping lead her team to the state finals. Her athleticism and determination extended beyond the court, as she also made the varsity volleyball team as a freshman—demonstrating her versatility, discipline, and commitment to excellence at an early age.

Following her high school success, Sheronda transitioned into a meaningful career in healthcare, where she has dedicated herself to serving others with compassion, purpose, and a heart for healing.

Her passion for people extends beyond her profession and into her community.

Today, Sheronda continues to give back in a powerful way through her role as Cheer Coordinator for Apopka Pop Warner. Under her leadership, the cheer program has reached exceptional heights, earning national championship titles for the past two consecutive years. Her commitment to mentoring youth, building confidence, and fostering teamwork has made a lasting impact on the lives of many young athletes and their families.

Sheronda Wright’s story is one of dedication, leadership, and service—both in her professional career and within her community. She remains passionate about empowering others, inspiring the next generation, and continuing to make a difference wherever she serves.
