There’s something powerful about hearing from someone who has been there.
Our recipient families have graciously shared their stories with us, and so many have told us how meaningful it was to connect with other parents and families who understood the experience. Not necessarily because they shared the same diagnosis, but because they understood the uncertainty, the fear, the long days, and all the moments that come with having a child with cancer.
That’s why we’re sharing their stories.
Because one family’s experience might be exactly what another family needs to hear. It might make someone feel less alone, help a friend or family member understand what they’re going through, or remind a parent that there are people who truly get it.
Take a few minutes to read the stories from some of the families we’ve had the privilege of supporting. And if one stays with you, please share it. You never know who might need to find it.
