Perspective doesn’t erase the pain, but it can change everything about how we carry it.

That’s what this episode is about. Link in bio. Go listen on Spotify and find out why we call it Wrestling with Cancer...and Loving It.

Almost every parent who walks through this journey asks the same questions at some point.

What did we miss?
Was it something in our home, our water, our neighborhood?
Did I pass this down to my child?

The mind goes looking for a reason, because a reason would mean control and control would mean protection. But childhood cancer does not work that way.

The guilt you might feel is not evidence of any failure, it is evidence of how deeply you love your child. Those are not the same thing, even when it feels like they are.

You brought them to the doctors. You are here. You are advocating. That is what a good parent looks like.

If you are carrying guilt today, you don't have to carry it alone. This community has been where you are, and we're here for you now.

There is something about being handed a raincoat in the middle of the worst storm of your life. It doesn’t stop the rain. It doesn’t make the storm shorter. But it tells you that someone saw you out there, thought of you before you even knew you needed it, and came prepared.

That is what we try to be for every family who walks through the hardest door they’ve ever opened. Not a way out of the storm, but a reason to know they won’t have to stand in it alone.

If someone has ever handed you a 'raincoat' when you needed it most, we’d love to hear about them in the comments. The people who show up like that deserve to be named.

There is a reason Easter feels like hope. It always has.
And this year, more than ever, that matters. Because there are a lot of people out there who are not doing okay right now. Not really. And that's okay to admit.

There's a mom out there who has spent the last few months learning words she never wanted to know. Sitting in waiting rooms she never thought she'd be in. Trying to hold it together for her kid while she is barely holding it together herself. There's a dad driving home from an appointment just trying to figure out how to walk back through his front door and act like everything is fine. There are people reading this right now who have been carrying something so heavy for so long that they can't even remember what it felt like before.

That's real. And it deserves to be said out loud.

Here's the thing about hard seasons though...they lie to you. They make you feel like this is just how things are now. Like the weight you are carrying is permanent. Like hope is something that belongs to other people in easier circumstances.

It's not true.

Things change. Life has a way of shifting when you least expect it. Not always in the big dramatic ways you are hoping for, sometimes it's just a moment. A good day out of nowhere. Someone showing up at the right time. A piece of news that lets you breathe again. Small things that remind you the world is still capable of being good.

Those moments are out there for you too. That's not just something nice to say. It's the truth.

To everyone who is struggling this Easter, you are not as alone as you feel right now. There are people in your corner who you may not even know about yet. This community is full of them. People who have been where you are and made it through to a different season.

So take a breath this weekend. Just take a breath and give yourself some credit for still being here, still showing up for the people who need you.

The season is going to turn, it always does, and we are going to be right here with you.

Happy Easter all!

✨ The 2026 InVINCEable Gala was nothing short of extraordinary. ✨

We are humbled and honored to share that together, we raised over $390,000 that goes directly to families facing childhood cancer. It is not just about the funds. It is about wrapping each family in the enthusiasm, gratitude, joy, love, and serenity they deserve as they walk one of life’s most difficult roads. And this past Saturday, every one of those things was felt in that room.

To our incredible sponsors, our gracious guests, and every person who supports our mission, THANK YOU. You are not just donors or attendees. You are the hands and hearts behind our purpose. You made this night something we will carry with us long after the evening ended.

We are so grateful we got to share it with you.

📸 We would love to relive every moment! Please tag us in your photos from the evening and share in the memories we made together.

Support like this reaches farther than most people ever see. KEEN’s generosity helps create real breathing room for families navigating pediatric cancer, and that matters more than words can fully say.

We are thankful for partners who choose to give in ways that make life a little more supported, a little more cared for, and a little less heavy. Thank you, Keen Decision Systems, for being part of that. 💛

Childhood cancer may change a family’s life, but it does not get to define it by fear alone.

In this first ever clip from of our ‘Wrestling Cancer… and Loving It!’, Scott shares why the language of fighting and battling never fully fit his family’s experience after Vince was diagnosed with leukemia. What rose above the fear, the pain, and the uncertainty was something stronger, love. Love for a child. Love for a family. Love that holds people together through what they never asked to face.

That perspective is at the heart of this podcast and at the heart of this foundation. It is for parents, loved ones, friends, and supporters who want to better understand what it means to walk alongside a family facing pediatric cancer and how to show up with more compassion, purpose, and care.

Before leukemia became part of their story, Ezekiel’s family had already built a life centered on caring for others. That is part of what makes this journey so moving.

What they have walked through since his diagnosis is full of the fear, love, uncertainty, and resilience that so many families know firsthand. It is also a story about the small mercies and steady support that help carry people through when life changes overnight.

We are deeply honored to share Ezekiel’s story. It is a beautiful and honest reminder of what families hold, and how much it matters to have people in your corner.

We want to publicly recognize and thank CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC for their extraordinary sponsorship and continued commitment to families facing childhood cancer.

Sponsorship support allows us to provide $4,000 to $6,000 directly to a family each year, with funds allocated to both immediate needs (an ongoing bill like rent, mortgage, or car payment) and the child’s future through a college savings investment.

Your generosity creates real relief now and real hope later. Thank you for making this work possible.

Reid's story is up in our Community Spotlight!

This is the kind of update people don’t forget, because it’s real life, not a headline. It’s a look at how a family stays steady through treatment, how a kid keeps being a kid in the middle of it, and how support makes a difference when it shows up consistently.

Reid is 14 now and one year out of treatment in April 2026!
