Financial literacy isn’t just about money… it’s about options.
It’s about understanding how to make your money work for you instead of always working for it. It’s about breaking cycles, building confidence, and creating opportunities early, not waiting until adulthood to figure it out.

The truth is, most of us weren’t taught this growing up… and that’s exactly why we do this work.

If we can teach kids the basics (budgeting, saving, and investing) we’re not just teaching money… we’re changing futures.

Managing Money doesn’t need to be scary!

With these four simple finance tips you can start building a stable financial future. First, know where your money goes, track income, and expenses, and set spending limits for essentials. Next, aim for 3 to 6 months of expenses as a safety net. This protects you from unexpected bills or job loss. Also avoid bad debt! Use credit cards wisely and pay off balances monthly to avoid high interest charges. Lastly, invest early! The earlier you start the more compound interest works for you. Even small investments grow big overtime.

Teaching kids to save doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be intentional.

From kids to teens, financial habits are built in everyday moments: how we talk about money, how we make choices, and how we recover from mistakes. Saving is a skill, and like any skill, it gets better with practice.

This is the work we do at FACTS for Youth, meeting families where they are and giving them tools they can actually use.

This year, FACTS is bringing financial literacy into the wellness space, creating opportunities for adults and families to explore how financial knowledge can reduce stress, build confidence, and support long-term stability.

The Money Club Book Drive is officially wrapped! 🚀
Together we donated 18 books to 3 Title I schools, giving each school 6 brand-new copies focused on building confidence with money.
