Throughout May and June, NAA Ambassadors and advocates across the country have been reaching out to local and state legislators to request proclamations recognizing June as National Aphasia Awareness Month.

We are so gateful for the Ambassadors and all the volunteers putting their time and efforts into this important initiative!

As proclamations are secured, each state is highlighted on our map.

The NAA is so appreciative of the support and engagement we are seeing by our community for all of our June Initiatives. People are searching for the NAA Speech Bubble, understanding that Aphasia is Everywhere! And at the 1/2 way mark, our Proclamation Project (United for Aphasia Awareness) is creating a dynamic model of aphasia awareness at the City, County and State levels! We owe so much gratitude to the NAA Ambassadors who spearheaded the project and the dozens of other volunteers who are adding to it. Check out the latest map and pictures of the proclamations here:
