💚 Group Advisor Gratitude! 💚

Over the years, Craig Smith and Genevieve Richardson have shared their time, talents, and enthusiasm with the NAA community, helping create meaningful opportunities for connection and communication through their Journey Through Speech Group. This super fun travel program will head over to Aphasia Recovery Connection. We are excited that these wonderful aphasia advocates will continue to grace the NAA with their gifts of advocacy!

NAA Speech Bubble Tour Day 4 Location Reveal!
📍 Alexandria, Virginia!

"Hello, I’m Kitti Tong from Virginia. The NAA’s Aphasia Speech Bubble is here in Old Town, Alexandria—a place I love for its food, bakeries, coffee shops, and the Art League’s amazing art classes. I’ve taken several lessons over the years.

Aphasia Awareness matters to me because of my recovery journey. 7 years ago, I didn’t speak at all. I said yes, bad, no, so-so. That’s it.

My left brain is damaged, but my right brain, my artwork, is the only way I can express my emotions.

Today, I’m speaking again, even if a little slower, and my neurons are improving each every day."

NAA Speech Bubble Tour Day 3 Location Reveal!
