That’s why we’re excited to launch the Caregiver OneCall Substack.

This is a space for honest conversations about caregiving. The struggles, the victories, the grief, the guilt, the love, and everything in between.

Caregiver OneCall is seeking a Treasurer to join our Board of Directors.

We are looking for a Bay Area-based finance professional who believes in the power of community and wants to help shape the future of a growing nonprofit supporting family caregivers nationwide.

Ideal candidates may have experience in:

• Nonprofit finance and accounting
• Budget development and financial oversight
• Financial reporting and board governance
• Audit, compliance, or risk management
• Grant budgeting and financial stewardship
• CPA, CFO, Controller, Finance Director, or similar leadership experience

As Treasurer, you will work alongside our board and leadership team to help ensure financial transparency, sustainability, and responsible growth as we expand our impact.

12-15 hours required, ability to create monthly financial reports to the board, monthly, and maintain monthly bookkeeping.

Caregiver OneCall provides free support, education, and resources to family caregivers across the country because no caregiver should ever feel alone at 2 AM.

This is a volunteer board position. Prior nonprofit board experience is required.

Lisa brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across healthcare, technology, media, and market research. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations grow, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful impact within the communities they serve.

What makes Lisa’s voice especially valuable to Caregiver OneCall is her lived experience. As someone living with Multiple Sclerosis, supporting family members through health challenges, and helping care for aging loved ones, she understands the realities caregivers face every day.

A dedicated advocate, volunteer, and fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lisa is passionate about the power of education, support, and community connection to improve lives.
