🚨 CONTRA COSTA RESIDENTS: NOW IS THE TIME TO GET ORGANIZED 🚨
The challenges facing our communities and our democracy can feel overwhelming—but we are not powerless. The strongest defense against authoritarianism is organized people, connected communities, and collective action.
Join us for a Non-Cooperation Training to learn practical strategies for community defense, movement building, and organizing in this moment. We’ll explore lessons from communities across the country, hear about efforts already happening right here in Contra Costa, and share ways you can get plugged into ongoing work.
Whether you’re brand new to organizing or have been involved for years, this training is for you. Come meet neighbors, build relationships, strengthen your skills, and discover how your talents, experiences, and leadership can support the work ahead.
Together, we can build the networks, resilience, and people power needed to protect our communities and create lasting change.

⏰ 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 2727 Alhambra Ave., Martinez

We’ve been talking about Measure B and why it matters for the future of healthcare in Contra Costa County. This measure would help bring in over $150 million to protect local healthcare services as federal cuts continue impacting our communities. It also won’t increase the cost of necessities like food or rent.

Nurses, doctors, firefighters, and community leaders are supporting Measure B because healthcare impacts all of us. Make sure you’re registered to vote and ready for Election Day June 2nd.

📢🚨We’re calling on the Equity Committee to finalize a strong, enforceable ICE non-cooperation ordinance. No loopholes, no exception. This ordinance must:
☑️Protect county workers
☑️Safeguard county data
☑️Ensure that county contractors do not comply or
cooperate with ICE
☑️Require the Sheriff Department to report its contact
with federal agencies
🚨Add your voice in support and sign the petition today: bit.ly/ICENonCoop (Petition is on our bio and on our website at liftupcontracosta.com) please share with your networks. It’s time for Contra Costa to catch up to the rest of the Bay Area.
