🚨 URGENT COMMUNITY CALL TO ACTION 🚨

We Get It Foundation is asking our community to come together for a local father who is facing an overwhelming series of emergencies.

He is an Uber driver and the parent of an autistic child. His vehicle is currently being repaired, which has left him completely unable to work. His bank account is now overdrawn, bills are continuing to accumulate, and he has no reliable way to earn income until his car is back on the road.

At the same time, his father is receiving hospice care at home. He is trying to support and care for his father during an incredibly painful time while also managing his own serious health needs. Because he does not currently have transportation, he has been unable to attend his own medical appointments.

This family needs immediate financial support for essential bills, transportation, medical needs, caregiving expenses, and basic necessities.

Every donation matters. Even a small contribution can help provide food, keep utilities on, cover transportation, or help this father get back to work and attend his medical appointments.

Please donate if you are able, and please share this post. This is what community is supposed to look like. No family should have to carry this much alone.

One of our members shared this event with us. It’s geared towards our Spanish speaking community. She said that they invited their whole family and then split up so they could cover as many topics as possible- a divide and conquer idea if you will.

In 2024, one of WGIF’s founding teen ambassadors, Charlotte Luther participated in Contra Costa County’s Fair Queen Pageant. This year another of our fabulous ambassadors, Yareli is participating on May 14th at 6 p.m. Yareli and her family are asking for your support by attending the event.
