My son discovered two tiny terrors while we were feeding the Rivertown Cats the Saturday before last. I came back the next day and found the mischievous duo plus their super-protective mom. I was given access to set my traps behind the Lynn House Gallery & Antioch Adult Ed. I trapped all three then reached out to Kathy Cabrera from Kitty911. Lucky for me they couldn’t use a appointment they already had for another cat. What’s even better is the vet agreed to take all three. I dropped them off the following morning. The kittens were both males. Everyone was fixed, vaccinated, ear-tipped & chipped. Mom needed pain meds so she spent three days recovering while the other two hissed, spat & plotted my demise. We returned all three to the trap site where they’ll be well fed. No more kittens for mom and we don’t need Maury to tell us who the father is. He’s a handsome fella who I’ll just call by his first name, “Billy.” He’s trap-savvy and has eluded several trapping attempts. Hopefully we can come up with a plan to put an end to his bachelor days. I really appreciate everyone who helped with the TNR process. Thank you Kathy & Tammy for getting them in so quickly. — with Susan Wallis Smith.

My name is Pumpkin and this is my story. If you’ve seen Noob’s story then you already know our owner is gone now. Her daughter raised me from a bottle baby but she went away a couple years ago. She got sick so her mom continued taking care of me along with her own cats until she had to go away. Now, I’ve lost two people who loved me and tried to give me a forever home. The person trying to find us a new home has known my family for 54 years. She was my mom’s best friend. She really wishes she could keep us but she has a lot of cats of her own. She desperately wants me to find a good home because she grew up with my mom and doesn’t want anything to happen to me. I need a home where I’m safe, secure and most of all loved. Something else that’s very important is that I’m kept indoors. I’m spayed and always good about using my potty box. I’m a dilute calico polydactyl so I’m extra special because I have extra toes. I’m a very sweet girl. Please message Susan Wallis Smith if you or someone you know would like to meet me and give me the forever home I desperately need.
