The Award was established by the Sequoit Pride parent booster club in 2017 to honor Dr. Hubbard's outstanding commitment, dedication, and support of the Sequoit community. Please consider nominating any person or organization that has gone above and beyond to enhance the ACHS culture, support growth, and cultivate a comprehensive and exemplary learning experience in our high school community. WHO IS DR. HUBBARD?
During his tenure as principal, Dr. Hubbard earned the respect and admiration of students, staff, parents, and the Antioch community. He supported our Sequoits by attending an unbelievable number of student events, home and away. He was frequently seen in the hallways throughout the day, offering students a smile, a congratulatory remark, compassion, and support. When challenges arose, Dr. Hubbard's leadership style made it easy for all to know how to react. He was caring yet firm. He was an ideal role model for the next generation. He encouraged Sequoits to "make it matter" and, every day, he spread that message by living it.
