We can't just move donations without having a little fun along the way!

A huge thank you to one of our board members, Cendall, for organizing our Spring Cleaning Donation Drive. The community showed up in a big way, and the response was incredible!

In fact, we had so many donations that we had to recruit some extra muscle from to help us move everything.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and helping hands that made this event a success. Community impact happens when people come together, and this is a perfect example of what can be accomplished through teamwork.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, lifted boxes, and supported the drive. Together, we're helping ensure that dignity isn't optional; it's part of the plan.

In March I began a spring cleaning donation drive asking people to donate clothes, books and other household items.

Today in June we drop off all these items to raise funds for a good cause. Traveler on a Mission is an organization I hold near and close to my heart. I started with them as an intern almost 4 years ago and while I no longer work for them I still remain close knitted with TOAM because I can directly see the impact they make on individuals and families.

Hygiene is such a neglected necessity that not many think about when it comes to donations and that is the need that TOAM fulfills.

With the help of everyone’s donated items, we were able to collect over 3000 lbs of items and raise $500 to go towards TOAM.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who donated and spread the word. Additionally thank you to for providing extra hands to help on our distribution day.

Community impact happens when we work together.

At Traveler On A Mission, we know we cannot do this work alone. Every hygiene product distributed, every family supported, and every life touched is possible because of community partners who believe in making a difference.

It was an honor to share our mission and the work we do throughout the community with . We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and explore ways we can work together to serve our neighbors.

Strong communities are built through collaboration, and we look forward to growing this partnership and creating an even greater impact in the future.

When you show the electronic fundraiser flyer to your wait staff, a percentage of your food purchase will go directly toward helping individuals and families access basic hygiene essentials.

We finish the month of May strong with our new friends at the West Haven Public Library I love it when our host sites are creative with the donation drive bin. Sometimes people mistake the bin for a trash can 😕 They found a way to make it accessible to donors. Stay tuned to this adaptation for future bins. Great Job!

☀️ June Product of the Month: Sunblock ☀️

As the weather gets warmer and more families spend time outdoors, sun protection becomes more important. For many individuals and families already struggling to meet basic needs, purchasing sunblock is often not a priority.

This month, Traveler On A Mission is collecting NEW sunblock to help protect the health and well-being of those we serve throughout our community.

Items Needed:
☀️ SPF 30 or higher
☀️ Lotion or spray
☀️ Child and adult options welcome
☀️ Full-size, unopened products only
