WE LOVE OUR COMMUNTIY SO MUCH !!!!! Huge THANK YOU to Macedonia Church for their continued support with their food drive on Saturday. They collected 1110 Lbs. of food, a $25 gift card, and $100 cash. WE LOVE YOU! THANK YOU!

NEED CLOTHING?
Here at Samela we are proud to have Debbie's Closet to provide clients with clothes, shoes, toys, books, and more. Our closet is overflowing with clothes and we'd like to give out as much as possible in the next few weeks so we can replenish our closet with new items.

The weather is getting warmer and that leads to some changes here at Samela Food Bank.

Firstly our amount of clients increase in warmer months and this means longer wait times. We do our best to be as efficient as possible for our clients and we thank you for your patience.

Secondly anyone walking is encouraged to be mindful of the amount they can actually carry/cart. We are tired of piles of food being left at our door when people realize they don't have room. We will gladly give you everything you ask for but please be mindful of what you can take.

Thirdly WE DO NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION. Clients should be prepared with transportation to and from the food bank, it is not our responsibility. If transportation should be available in the future we shall keep you updated.
