💙 STATE CHAMPIONS & REGIONALS BOUND! 💙

Congratulations to our Ansonia Coppers D6 team, officially STATE CHAMPIONS, taking home FIRST PLACE! 🏆🥇 And a huge congratulations to our D14 team for earning SECOND PLACE! 🥈 Both teams are advancing to Regionals in Rhode Island in the next few weeks! We can’t wait to cheer them on as they take this next step!

To our D10 team: although you didn’t place today, you delivered your BEST performance of the season! Your hard work, growth, and determination showed on that mat, and you gave us so much to be proud of. Hold those heads high, you were amazing! 💙

We are incredibly proud of ALL our athletes and coaches for the heart, time, and effort they’ve put into this season. Thank you to our families and fans for cheering them on every step of the way!

Our Ansonia cheerleaders brought the spirit to Seymour Pink’s Pounding the Pavement 5K today! 🩷📣 We loved cheering on the runners, celebrating survivors, and supporting everyone affected by breast cancer, especially our Vice President and Coach Ashlee! 🎀

Seeing our athletes, coaches, and families come together for a cause so close to our hearts made this morning extra special. We love you, Coach Ashlee! 💕

Huge thank you to Seymour Pink & Mary Deming for providing our girls with the beautiful breast cancer bows all these years! 💗

Last night, our girls wrapped up their final practice before competition wearing pink for breast cancer awareness and in support of our Vice President and Coach Ashlee. Ashlee, your Coppers family is cheering you on every step of the way! 💕

Good luck to our D6, D10, and D14 teams at Sunday’s competition! You’ve worked so hard, and we can’t wait to see you shine on that mat! 💙⚡️

Our girls did such an amazing job on the sidelines today, cheering loud, bringing the energy, and supporting our football players from start to finish! We are so proud of all of our cheerleaders and the spirit they brought to the field! 💙

And a HUGE great job to all of our Coppers football players! 🏈 You boys played hard and gave us plenty to cheer about!

💙📣 What a great finish to our two-day choreography weekend! 📣💙

We are SO proud of all of our Ansonia Coppers cheerleaders! These girls came in ready to work, learned so much in just two days, and really started bringing their routines to life.

Now the real work begins! 💪 We’re so excited to get back into practice, clean everything up, strengthen our skills, build confidence, and continue pushing these routines to be competition ready!

This weekend was just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see how much each team grows throughout the season. So proud of our girls and all the hard work they put in this weekend! 💙🤍

💙📣 Attention Ansonia Youth Cheer Families! 📣💙

Welcome letters have officially been sent! Please check your email (including your spam/junk folder) if you haven’t received yours yet.

As we prepare for an exciting 2026 season, please make sure to:

✅ Read your welcome letter carefully.

✅ Download and join the Band app using the information provided in your welcome letter.

✅ Upload your athlete’s current sports physical as soon as possible. Athletes will not be permitted to participate until a valid physical has been submitted.

✅ Upload a copy of your athlete’s birth certificate if you have not already done so.

The Band app will be our primary source of communication throughout the season, so it’s important that all families join as soon as possible. We will be posting practice updates, schedules, announcements, and important reminders there throughout the season.

We’re so excited to kick off the 2026 season and can’t wait to see all of our athletes back on the field! Let’s make this our best season yet! 💙📣

🎉 REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who registered for the upcoming season! We can’t wait to kick off another exciting year with all of our athletes and families.

📅 Our season officially begins on Monday, July 27!

Please continue to monitor your email over the next week, as welcome letters and important season information will be sent out.

🚨 Medical clearances are due by July 15th. All athletes must have a current medical clearance on file in order to participate this season. Please schedule your appointment as soon as possible. The physical must be completed on the official Ansonia Youth Cheer medical clearance form and uploaded no later than July 15th.

📄 Please also be sure to submit your athlete’s birth certificate if you have not already done so.

We’ll be sending out lots of important information in the coming weeks, so be sure to check your email regularly and follow our page for updates.
