Governor Lamont was in Ansonia today at GR8 coffee on Main St. He’s a big supporter of charter schools and proud to hear that PROUD Academy will be the first tuition-free public charter school in the Naugatuck Valley— opening our doors in August 2027.

Patty, the founder, is with Jeremiah, Josh, Michael, David, the Founding Principal of PROUD Academy, Jose, Joe, Karen, and Sofy. Missing is Rich, Toni, and Chip.

And a FREE community chalk art event to bring us all together for art activities—with the help of the Valley Arts Council—what does community mean to me? what does pride mean to me? etc…
