If you haven't yet signed up for the Annapolis Ten Mile Run, you might want to get yourself registered by Sunday night before the fees go up on June 1st! And stay tuned for more info on our free A-10 Training Program... It'll begin around the end of June, and program registration will be opening very soon!

Three months may seem like a long way out, but August 30th will be here before you know it! And with our entry fee due to rise on Monday, June 1st, this weekend is a great time to sign up for the 51st Annual Annapolis Ten Mile Run. Can't wait to see you at Maryland's premier 10 mile road race!

Don't forget that All-Comers Track Meet #2 takes place this coming Wednesday, June 3rd, once again at 6 PM at Annapolis High School! These meets have no entry fee, but donations are accepted to help us cover costs. All runners are welcome-- young or old, fast or not-so-fast, Striders or non-Striders!

The John Wall Memorial One Mile Track Run returns to Annapolis in one month! Come out to Annapolis High School on Saturday, June 27th and see how fast you can cover the classic 5,280-foot distance. As always, we welcome runners of all ages & abilities, so don't be intimidated! We run separate heats based on estimated finish time, so you'll be out on the track with runners of similar pace. The first of our Masterson Meets All-Comers Track Meets is this Wednesday evening, May 27th! And "all-comers" means we welcome ALL COMERS, regardless of ability or age. So come on out to Annapolis High School for this fun, FREE, donation-only meet featuring distances from 100 meters up to 3200 meters! We could definitely use more volunteers as well. And don't forget that we'll also have meets on the two following Wednesdays-- same time (6 PM), same location (AHS), same cost (FREE)!

Just under two months until our Endless Summer 6-Hour Run, back at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis! Please note that it's also a Sunday race this year, a switch necessitated by our location change. So please plan on joining us on Sunday, July 19th, as either a solo runner, a member of a three-runner team, or a volunteer. No, you don't have to run for the entire six hours-- run for as long or as short as you want! Info & sign-up link is in the comments. ⬇️

Come run our Dawson's Father's Day 10K one month from today and see why last year's participants were having so much fun! Our June 21st race follows a fast, easy route on the B&A Trail from Severna Park High School, and preregistration fees are extremely reasonable at $10 for Annapolis Striders members or $15 for non-members. We're just one week away from our Masterson Meets All-Comers Track Meet #1! Whether you're old or young, fast or not-so-fast, experienced or have no idea how a track meet works, we'd love to see you at Annapolis High School on Wednesday, May 27th for this fun, low-stakes event featuring a variety of distances from 100 meters (¼ lap, or 109.4 yards) up to 3200 meters (8 laps, or 1.99 miles). Did we mention this is a FREE, donation-only event? 😁 Sign-up is in person & starts at 5:30 PM, and we'll kick off the races at 6:00. Meets will also take place on the following Wednesdays, June 3rd and June 10th, with the same location and start time. We'd also love some volunteer help at any/all of the meets; see the comments for the volunteer sign-up link & meet director e-mail! ⬇️

Hey all, don't forget about Saturday morning's Annapolis Striders Education Series: Clinic with Rehab 2 Perform and optional pre-clinic group runs! The clinic, covering injuries & rehab & prevention, is at 9:30 AM at the Crofton Park pavilion. We'll also start a 5-6 mile group run at 8:00 and a 2-3 mile group run at 8:30. Reminder for Striders parents: Our free Junior Striders program for elementary & middle schoolers starts on Monday! We meet at Bates Track in Annapolis on Mondays & Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:15 PM, and we offer fun activities & games to keep your kids active and to help them build the stamina to take part in our John Wall Memorial One Mile Track Run on June 27th.
