A free race?! Yep! Annapolis Striders members can preregister for our December 13th Anniversary Run 15K at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis for exactly $0. As always, non-Striders are welcome to take part at the usual $15 preregistration cost of our low-key Championship Series races-- but we'd love it if you'd join our non-profit, all-volunteer club to take advantage of the $0 entry deal! A 12-month membership starts at just $30 for individuals & $45 for families, with discounts for multi-year and youth memberships. Help us celebrate our club's 48th birthday this December by becoming a member! See the comments ⬇️ for links to Anniversary Run 15K registration.

We're bananas for these photos shared by longtime Striders volunteer Donna Harten from her Annapolis Striders Metric Marathon water stop on Sunday! Our all-volunteer running club exists thanks to folks like the people pictured here. There's no better way to give back to the running community than by volunteering at a Striders event yourself! (And we'd love to share your volunteering photos-- send 'em to us at [email protected]!)

A Celebration of Life for Striders & Prince George's Running Club member Clare Imholtz (pictured here running our 2025 Women's Distance Festival 5K) will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, October 14th (her birthday) at Brookside Gardens (1800 Glenallan Ave.) in Wheaton. An inspiration to many of us, Clare passed away on July 30th at age 79. She is definitely missed!
