Volunteering at Grace Place Food Pantry looks different every day — and that’s part of what makes it so fun and meaningful!
If you’ve ever wondered what volunteering actually looks like, here are a few ways our amazing volunteers serve each week:
🥕 Receive and unload deliveries�On weekday mornings (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday morning from about 9:30–2, this is a suggested time frame so we welcome any amount of time your able to serve!), volunteers help unload food deliveries, organize items, and stock our pantry shelves.
📦 Pantry Prep�Volunteers help sort food, organize shelves, and get everything ready so that when our pantry opens, families can easily receive what they need.
🙌 Serve our families during pantry hours�When the pantry is open, volunteers welcome families, help them find the groceries they need, spend time connecting with them, and offer prayer and encouragement.
