Who wants to volunteer at our new library?

Unless you are helping out our Friends or Foundation organizations directly, you need to sign up with the City of Anna to volunteer. The process is easy and free. Visit the attached link and click on "sign up" to begin your application.

Established in 2021, the City of Anna Volunteer program is an example of what it means to be a good Neighbor in Anna. Our volunteers are partners in bringing excellent programs, events, and services to the community.

Welcome Summer!!!

Our library will be very active throughout the summer break and open for extended access after the election for those of you who sign up for the service.

What an amazing day!

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers, city employees, and attendees who joined us at yesterday’s Earth Day event. Our Friends of the Anna Community Library had an amazing Second Annual Book Sale, and we were thrilled to meet so many neighbors enjoying the beautiful weather and exploring our new library.

We received countless compliments on our setup this year. Using round tables gave everyone plenty of space to browse comfortably, and it was wonderful to watch families building their own home libraries. We were equally excited to see how many adults proudly shared that they, too, are avid readers.

Thank you for supporting our library, our mission, and our growing community of readers.
