Ankeny Community Theater was represented at last night's by the cast of Once Upon A Mattress! They put on a fantastic performance and showed the whole Des Moines Theater Community what fun and quality shows we put on at ACT. We are proud of you! Season punch cards for the 26-27 season are on sale now! You can get yours at https://tickets.midwestix.com/event/actseasonpunchcard2627

Season punch cards let you purchase your tickets in advance for a discount, but give you the flexibility to use them for any performance that works for you! You can still reserve your seat by booking online through Midwestix and selecting "season punch card or comp ticket". Just don't forget to bring your punch card with you to the theater! You can purchase a card with either 3 or 6 punches - use them across the season or all on one show!

If you want even more of a discount per show, donate to become a member! You can find more information about this perk at the link above.

$20 - $99
Name in the program
Membership voting rights

$100 - $249
All of the above, plus
Program signed by cast from one show (the next show after their membership donation date)

$250 - $499
All of the above, plus
Your name on a slide at the annual meeting
3-show punchcard
Program signed by the cast from each show after their membership donation date (if donation is made after a show has wrapped, the show is not included)

$500 - $999
All of the above, plus
6-show punch card (note: this replaces a 3-show punch card from previous tier)
A shoutout in the director's speech for each show

$1000 and above
All of the above, plus
Invitation to one Preview Night showing per season (to be scheduled at time of donation and in collaboration with the show’s director)

Ankeny Community Theatre is proud to present high-quality performances while also prioritizing affordable live theater opportunities for the community. We wanted to be transparent with our patrons that ticket prices in all categories will be going up $5 for the 26-27 season.

The last time we raised our ticket prices was pre-pandemic and a lot has changed since then for the cost of costumes, props, and sets. There are still several ways to save money while attending ACT performances, including purchasing season punch cards, attending Thursday performances, and volunteering to usher!
