One of our favorite moments wasn't who won the trivia competition.

It was watching older students enthusiastically cheer for younger classmates, and then seeing those younger students return the favor the next day.

At El Hogar, students don't simply share a campus.

They belong to a community.

Did you know that schools across Honduras celebrate Student's Day each June?

It's a joyful tradition that recognizes students and the importance of education.

At El Hogar, our elementary and high school campuses recently came together for two unforgettable days of trivia, laughter, teamwork, and school pride. Students were divided into four colorful teams and spent the celebration cheering one another on, including older students traveling to encourage younger classmates, and younger students returning the favor the next day.

Moments like these remind us that education is about much more than academics.

It's about belonging.

Over the next two weeks, we'll be sharing more from Student's Day, and inviting our community to ensure every El Hogar student has the resources they need to finish the school year strong.
