Learn about our Founder! Born and raised in rural communities in South Western Uganda, Barnabas Nkore, RN, saw a great need to start a non-profit organization that would provide basic medical equipment, education, and training to the rural community hospitals in developing regions of the world.

In the US, used medical equipment is dumped in landfills without a second thought. Meanwhile, other rural regions are struggling to provide even the most basic of equipment including wheelchairs, beds, linens, IV's, and many more.

The goal of International Healthcare Solutions is to repurpose and recycle medical equipment for generous use in needy countries and rural community hospitals.

I woke up thinking,How will IHCSInc accomplish it's programs with all these needs in our rural communities?Then I consoled my self with these words of Mother Teresa of Calcutta"if you can't feed a hundred people, then just feed one."We will therefore help transform healthcare delivery in Africa one community hospital at a time.
