🕗 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

We’re looking for someone who is:

✅ Able to multitask and meet deadlines
✅ A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
✅ Comfortable working with the public and handling confidential information

Experience in housing programs, property management, or administrative work is a plus!

We are excited to welcome our new families to the newly renovated Topper Terrace! Thank you all for your patience and understanding while we have worked to make this an exceptional property.

After several years of waiting, the first tenants are expected to move into the renovated Lincolnshire Apartments in November.

Anderson! What are your thoughts on this concept?

Instead of leaving people to sleep outside through brutal Minnesota winters, Minneapolis helped fund a very different idea.

An old warehouse was transformed into an indoor village containing 100 tiny homes.

The project is called Avivo Village.

Each person gets their own private sleeping space inside the building, giving them somewhere safe, warm and secure to stay.

But the project goes beyond simply providing a bed.

Residents can also access mental-health support, employment help, substance-use treatment and assistance finding permanent housing.

The village is operated by the nonprofit Avivo, with support from public and private funding.

Since opening, hundreds of people have stayed there.

Many have gone on to move into permanent housing.

It is essentially a village inside a warehouse.

100 private homes.

Support services under the same roof.

And one simple goal:

Give people somewhere safe to rebuild their lives.

The attorney general's office said 59 people will receive payments, which vary in amount. Checks should start going out next week.

We know that many families in our community are still trying to find their footing after the flood, and finding a safe place to call home is one of the most urgent needs. The Anderson Housing Authority maintains rental property listings by bedroom size for our clients. During this difficult time, we are opening these listings to non-clients as well, in hopes of making it a little easier for displaced families to connect directly with landlords who have available rental properties.

Please understand that these listings are being provided as a free community resource and do not include rental or housing assistance. We simply want to share the information and resources we have available to help families in their search for housing.
