We’re excited to announce our upcoming Ag Safety Day for kids, hosted at the Center Rock Fire Department. The Clemson University Agricultural Safety Program team will guide youth through a series of hands‑on learning stations focused on staying safe around equipment, livestock, and farm environments.

Participants will also receive Stop the Bleed and basic first aid training—important skills for any young person growing up in agriculture.

Ag Safety Day will take place the day before the benefit for our friend, Kyle Hatcher, as he continues to recover from his traumatic tractor accident. This event is a meaningful way to honor him while giving our kids a strong foundation in farm safety and awareness.

It’s a powerful opportunity for our youth to learn how to protect themselves and others while working and playing on the farm.

CONGRATULATIONS to our State & Regional winners in the Senior, Junior, & Group divisions of the 4-H Wildlife Food Plot Project! These 4-H Youth gained knowledge but also demonstrated dedication throughout the project year. We hope all 4-H members will achieve genuine learning that extends beyond the project itself into a deeper relationship with the land and the wildlife it sustains. The Anderson Clemson Extension Office will be closed with the Anderson County closure both Monday and Tuesday, January 26-27, 2026.

📌Anderson County Government Offices, PAWS, Convenience Centers, MRF & Starr Landfill are CLOSED Tuesday, January 27, 2026, due to inclement weather.

🔹Bond Court Hearing Update — Bond Court hours will be amended for Tuesday, January 27, 2026; and, will be held from 11 am to 2 pm due to icy roads and the safety of staff .

💠Jurors summoned to Circuit Court: Due to the inclement weather, all Circuit Court jurors are excused from jury service and do not have to report for the term beginning Monday, January 26, 2026. If you have any questions, please call the Clerk of Court’s office once they reopen. Thank you.
