Big news for musicians! 🚨
The Recording Academy has shared updates on the HITS Act for the 2026 tax season, making it easier for artists to deduct recording expenses.

Deductible expenses include any costs directly related to the creation of a recording.
The deduction can apply to song demos, albums/LPs, EPs, singles, and digital-only releases. Expenses related to marketing, touring, and distribution are not eligible.
