Ahoy, mateys! Hope’s Soirée is making its maiden voyage to Kenai! Come aboard October 30 for the Kenai Pirate’s Curse Soirée! 🏴‍☠️

Gather yer crew and don yer finest pirate garb for a Halloween adventure at the Soldotna Regional Sports Center! Enjoy a night filled with treasures, including a Costume Contest, live and silent auctions, raffles, a photo booth, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, cocktails, and more!

Best of all, this night of swashbuckling fun will support Hope’s programs, services, and opportunities for people who experience disabilities in the Kenai community.

There’s so much to celebrate at the Alaska State Fair!

Tomorrow, August 21, come cheer on the ladies of the dance group, 'Superstars with Mat Valley Dance' as they perform on the Colony Stage by the RED Gate at 2:45pm and again at 5:15pm.

Then, join us next Monday, August 24, from 11:00am to 4:30pm for the Shining Abilities Craft Fair and Embracing Disabilities Expo. Celebrate the creativity and talents of artists who experience disabilities and shop handmade arts and crafts. Find the Craft Fair and Expo in the NEW Event Hall, located inside the PURPLE Gate area. General parking is free, with accessible parking available near the Event Hall.

Come see beyond disabilities and discover abilities! We hope to see you there!

A beautiful day, beautiful art, and an amazing community turnout for our first-ever 🌷🪻🌼 Bloom with a View 🌺🌻🌸 at the Alaska Botanical Garden!

We’re incredibly grateful to the Alaska Botanical Garden staff for partnering with us on this new event idea and welcoming Hope Studios for such a special collaboration. Nearly 200 visitors came out to enjoy the garden and artwork created by Hope Studios artists! And an especially heartfelt thank you to the Alaska Botanical Garden for their extraordinary generosity in donating 100% of the art proceeds back to Hope Studios in support of our mission and the artists 🙏🏼

We hope Bloom with a View is the beginning of a wonderful annual tradition!

Please join us in celebrating Jaci Webb and her recent milestone of 20 years of service with Hope!

Jaci’s history with Hope goes all the way back to 1979, when she began as an Administration Secretary. After some time away, she returned and has now accumulated a total of 20 years of seniority. Over the years, she has served in several roles and today puts her lifelong love of numbers to work as our Budget & Costing Specialist.

When asked what has kept her connected to Hope, she said, “The people I work for/with.” She values the supportive coworkers she’s worked alongside and the people Hope supports who have touched her heart. She has also loved watching Hope grow from a small organization into what it is today “without losing the drive and compassion we had at the beginning.”

Outside of work, Jaci has two children, six grandchildren, and two cats, Mica and Jasper. She enjoys puzzles, reading, crafting, gardening, and watching the hummingbirds outside her office window.

Congratulations, Jaci, on 20 years with Hope, and thank you for being part of our story!

Today is National Nonprofit Day, and we are so very grateful to everyone who helps us create opportunities for people who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full, meaningful lives.

What an AMAZING time we had at our Taylor Swift Sing-Along Brunch in Wasilla!

Nearly 100 Swifties came out to sing, dance, and celebrate all things Taylor—and we made our way through an incredible 47 favorite hits! The singing was loud, the outfits were fabulous, and everyone made the ✨whole place shimmer✨!

We want to give a huge shout-out and thank-you to the amazing staff at Everett's Restaurant for going above and beyond, especially with the incredible Taylor-inspired décor and menu!

Wasilla, we can’t wait to sing with you again! Next up: dust off those boots and get ready for our Outlaw Country Sing-Along Brunch — September 5!
