This Saturday is going to be a busy one! We are joining ASD Play to Learn at Anchorage Public Library from 11am-12:15pm AND Double Shovel Cider Company for their 10th anniversary bash from 12p-6p.

Our director got to spend five days in Fairbanks shadowing the 'Wooly' Fantastic team at Fairbanks Children's Museum, getting an indepth, hands on experience with the day-to-day operations of a museum with walls. She got to see programs in action like Baby Mingle, Summer Camp and Park Play Days, and got a tour of their future home at City Hall.

It was so helpful and inspiring, and we know a lot more about what to plan for as we continue our search for a space of our own in Anchorage.

Avian afternoon at Bird Treatment & Learning Center is happening now from 1p-3p! We are happy to join Bird TLC and friends from Anchorage Waterways Council, Alaska Botanical Garden, Anchorage Audubon Society, and Alaska Dept of Fish and Game for a fun filled and educational afternoon.

This week, our ED and two board members were able to take part in Interactivity 2026. We learned so much, got inspired by the and , met a celebrity and, of course, played!

We can't wait to apply this experience to our work.

But, first, this weekend! We'll be on the 3rd floor in the kids zone with our mobile museum.
