1 Samuel 30:6.
This was David's lowest moment.
His city was burnt, his family was taken, and even his own men who followed him turned against him and wanted to kill him.
He had no one to encourage him.
But instead of giving up, *he encouraged HIMSELF in the Lord.* He remembered who God is, what God has done before, and he found strength inside God.
*The lesson for us:*
When men cannot help you, when everyone blames you, and when your heart is heavy โ you can still find strength in God.
Don't wait for people to lift you. Lift yourself in the Lord โ through prayer, worship, and the Word.
God did not leave David there. After he strengthened himself in God, God gave him victory and restored everything he lost in verse 8.
Your restoration is coming too!
To God be all the glory forever more!!
