Buddy's Second Chance Rescue We are a 501c3 foster organization that finds homeless, abused and neglected shelter dogs their FUREVER homes. We are foster based out of Buffalo NY.
(240)

Buddy's Second Chance Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 dog rescue organization and completely foster-based in the Western New York area. We pull dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters all over the country that are on lists to be euthanized. We place them in foster homes until they find their furever homes here in WNY. Every dog that is saved opens up room for another. So in essence two dog's lives are being saved!! Currently we have a distance limitation for adoptions. As we expand, we will consider long distance adoptions.

🐾 WAITING FOR OVER A YEAR AND SO WORTH IT 🐾

Tater Tot is searching for his forever person, whether that’s an adopter or a foster-to-adopt home ❤️

This handsome 2-year-old pit mix weighs about 65 lbs and has so much love to give to the right person. Tater Tot can be a little unsure around new people at first, so he needs someone patient who will let him warm up on his own terms. He’s not the kind of dog who wants strangers immediately in his face — but once you earn his trust, you’ll have a loyal best friend for life.

And this boy is SMART 👏
✔️ Fully potty trained
✔️ Knows all his basic obedience
✔️ Sit, stay, come & more
✔️ Waits patiently at doors until released
✔️ Thrives with structure and consistency

We believe Tater Tot would do best as the only dog in the home so he can fully relax, bond, and soak up all the love and attention he deserves.

Behind those little quirks is a HUGE heart just waiting for someone willing to understand him and give him a real chance. 🥹🐶

Could you be Tater Tot’s person? (1)

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED ASAP- LIVING IN BOARDING FACILITY 🚨

🏔️🐾 Hi, I’m ROCKY! 🐾🏔️

✨ Male
✨ Mixed Breed
✨ About 4 years old
✨ 60 pounds
✨ Neutered

Are you someone who loves adventure and activity? Because Rocky is READY to be your sidekick.

If your ideal day includes neighborhood runs, hiking wooded trails, or hopping in the car for your next outing — Rocky is already at the door waiting. 🚗🌲🏃‍♂️

This handsome 60-pound guy has a HUGE personality and an even bigger heart. He loves to snuggle with his person after a good workout and is always down for walks, hikes, and car rides.

🧠 Rocky LOVES to train and use his brain. He thrives when he’s learning and engaging — and if you bring out a tug toy? Game. On. Tug-of-war is the absolute bee’s knees in Rocky’s world. 🐝🎾

🚫 Rocky would do best in a home without young children.
🐶 He has previously lived with another large dog and may do well with proper introductions.

If you’re looking for a loyal, active, affectionate best friend who’s just as happy exploring the outdoors as he is cuddling on the couch… Rocky might just be your perfect match.

🐶 Shepherd Mix | 5 Months | 35 lbs | Neutered Male

Miles is one happy-go-lucky pup who LOVES everyone and everything! He’s smart, playful, affectionate, and always ready to make a new best friend! ❤️

🌟 WHY WE LOVE MILES:

🐕 Dogs: LOVES them! Plays with his two big foster brothers!

🐾💙 MEET RIPLEY — BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THIS BOY IS ALL ABOUT FUN! 💙🐾

Straight from Silver Creek, NY, Ripley is a 5-month-old beagle mix weighing around 25 pounds, with a whole lot of puppy love to give! 🥰

Ripley has already been through so much. After being hit by a car, he suffered a skull fracture and lost vision in his left eye. But this resilient little guy hasn’t let that dim his spark! He’s busy doing what puppies do best: running, playing, and making everyone fall in love with him. ❤️

🏡 Here’s the scoop on Ripley:
🐶 Loves playing with his foster brother and sister!
🐱 Gets along with cats, too!
🚽 Making great progress with potty training.
💤 Sleeps through the night on the couch without a peep.
🏠 Crate trained, although he’d vote for couch freedom every time! 😂
🐾 Does well on a leash.
💕 Loves people, especially once he gets to know you!

Ripley’s next chapter should be filled with toys, adventures, cozy naps, and a family to call his own. Could you be his happily ever after? 🏡💙 #57

Apply to adopt Ripley at BuddysRescue.org. 🐾
