The New England Camera Club Council™ (NECCC™) is a nonprofit (Section 501(c)(3)) umbrella group of 55 camera clubs in the New England states. The New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) is a non-profit umbrella group for about 80 camera clubs in the New England states (Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont). The Council was established in 1937 and incorporated in 1963.

CONGRATULATIONS - WEBSITE AWARD WINNERS!!!

Every Year the Photographic Society of America (PSA) holds a number of competitions for clubs, individual members, PSA Chapters and Camera Club Councils open to PSA club or council members.

One of the more popular contests is the website competition. This is a worldwide competition. They have a number of judges who are knowledgeable in website design and photography judge them by reading over every page looking for a number of items. The PSA Website Contest Chairman stated that rather than technical things they were looking for sites that would make someone interested in the club/council by showing what that club/council had to offer to a new member or new club and would make them want to join if they visited the site.

We are happy to report that the New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) webmaster Dennis Goulet, HonNEC entered the new website and we placed 3rd in Chapters and Councils, and the Greater Lynn Photographic Assoc.(GLPA) won an Honor Award in large clubs.

The new NECCC Website was primarily built and put together by NECCC BOD member and Past President of the Council, Dennis Goulet, HonNEC with assistance and help from Silvana Della Camera, MNEC, Pam Lintner, HonNEC and Shiv Verma, FPSA, HonNEC our current NECCC President. Dennis has now passed on the website duties to our new webmaster Silvana Della Camera, MNEC.

The GLPA website is maintained by Pam Lintner, HonNEC & Susan Mosser, HonFPSA, LPSA, HonNEC (who do all the postings, set up the pages and all the updates etc), Andrew Katsampes (who does all the coding and technical issues) and Dana Patch, MNEC (who posts all the info for print comps).

The GLPA website was entered into the competition by one of the GLPA-BOD Advisory Committee members John Russo (who also knows and does web design) and felt they were good enough to win, and apparently he was right as they won an Honor Award in large clubs!

FINAL UNDERWAY OF THE SEASON!

On October 21, 2026, USS Constitution and her crew will conclude this year’s sail season by celebrating the ship’s 229th birthday and the U.S. Navy’s 251st birthday.

During the underway, “Old Ironsides” will render a 21-gun salute near Fort Independence at approximately 11:30 a.m., followed by a 17-gun salute near U.S. Coast Guard Base Boston at approximately noon.

Come join us on the waterfront!
