A great message from a local community business and supporter! It's Raining Zen & Terra Luna
Goodnight, friends.
Somewhere along the way, social media forgot what it was supposed to be.
It was meant to help us stay connected. To share photos of our families, our pets, our gardens, our adventures, and the little moments that make life beautiful. It was meant to help us find old friends, celebrate milestones, and remind us that we're all walking this journey together.
Instead, many days it feels like an endless parade of anger, outrage, sarcasm, and passive-aggressive comments from people who would probably be perfectly pleasant if you met them face-to-face.
The strange thing is that most of us would never speak to one another that way in person. We'd hold doors open. We'd smile. We'd ask how someone's family is doing. We'd offer a hand when help is needed.
Maybe that's worth remembering.
Behind every profile is a human being carrying burdens we know nothing about. Someone grieving. Someone struggling. Maybe even someone desperate for attention, likes, follows or shares, but that isn't your burden. Or maybe, just maybe, it is someone hoping for a little kindness in a world that often feels short on it.
The world already has enough people trying to win arguments. What it needs is more people trying to understand one another.
Sleep well and strive to treat others better - remember, we are all in this life together,
