Hey guess what!? Only 18 days left before the 5th Annual Alton Pride Festival kicks off on September 12th! Let us introduce you to our Festival Performers - first up is Noah Mazzaratie Steele - King of Alton Pride 2026! 🥰👑
Each performer wrote about what Alton Pride means to them, in their own words:
There is something truly special about Alton Pride because it has always felt like home. They say home is where the heart is, and for me, my heart is wherever my family is. Alton Pride has become so much more than an event—it is a family that has welcomed me, celebrated me, and reminded me that love, acceptance, and community can change lives.
Being crowned the King of Alton Pride is one of the greatest honors of my journey. It isn’t just about wearing a crown; it’s about representing a community that believes in lifting each other up, celebrating authenticity, and creating a place where everyone belongs. I will always cherish the opportunity to serve as the King of Alton Pride, to give back to the people who have given me so much, and to carry this title with pride, gratitude, and love.
Home isn’t always defined by the place where you’re born. Sometimes, it’s the place that embraces you, believes in you, and loves you exactly as you are. That’s what Alton Pride has always been to me. They say home is where the heart is, and I’ve learned that the heart is wherever your family is. My Alton Pride family has filled my heart with unforgettable memories, unconditional love, and a sense of belonging that I will carry with me forever.
Being chosen as the King of Alton Pride has been one of the greatest blessings and honors of my life. This crown has never just represented a title—it represents service, visibility, love, and the responsibility of standing proudly for a community that continues to inspire me every day. Every smile, every hug, every celebration, and every moment we’ve shared has reminded me why Pride matters and why community is so important.
I will forever cherish the privilege of serving as the King of Alton Pride. Thank you for trusting me to represent this incredible family and for allowing me to be part of something so much bigger than myself. No matter where my journey leads, a piece of my heart will always remain here, because Alton Pride isn’t just a celebration—it’s home.
As I continue my journey, I’ll carry the lessons, the laughter, and the love of this community with me. Crowns may change, titles may pass, but family is forever. And because home is where the heart is, my heart will always beat for Alton Pride.
No matter where life takes me, Alton Pride will always hold a special place in my heart because home is where the heart is, and my heart will always be with my Alton Pride family.
