Think hand building is boring? Come out to the clay studio tomorrow during Night Market on Broadway and we'll prove you wrong! Guest artist Jill Haak will be on hand to showcase her incredible hand built clay work and watch studio coordinator Chris Carson spin the potter's wheel, too! Casey will also be in the maker's space with free recycled art projects for the fam. Stop on by 208 State Street between 6:30-9pm before or after you shop the market and enjoy the bands!

We know it can be difficult to find the time for a full monthly class during the summer crush of vacations and get-togethers, so we developed some creative, one-day only clay workshops just for your busy schedule!

Kids will have fun making their very own personalized birthday cupcake plate on Sat, June 27th from 10am-1pm!

Love GIRL DINNER nights? Grab the gals & pals and come make your very own platter just for those snackie meal nights on Sat June 27th from 2-5pm.

We can help you keep your kitchen cleaner and more organized with our one-day wheel workshop where you'll be guided through creating a ceramic sponge holder on June 28th from 2-5pm!

In July, join us for a Build Your Own Jar slab workshop. You'll use hand building techniques to create your very own functional and decorative lidded jar! July 18th from 10am-2pm.

And finally, register yourself to hand make your very own custom ring holder! On July 19th from 2-4pm!

Don't forget to attend the Mississippi Riverscapes 2026 Plein Air Art Competition's Awards Ceremony tomorrow from 5-7pm! Join us at the National Great Rivers Museum to enjoy an advance preview of the exhibit before its official opening on June 15th. The reception will include refreshments and live music by local group Psychedelic Symphony, followed by the presentation of awards at 5:30 p.m. Local artist Jenna Muscarella-Godair will be live painting during the event, as well.
We hope you'll join us in celebrating these terrific local artists!

It's Night Market on Broadway Thursday and this week it's our KIDS NIGHT! Bring the fam down for some free art fun just for them. We'll have art activities for everyone plus you can get your hands muddy trying out the potter's wheel with Chris Carson. Ms. Marcie will be on hand with activities for the little ones. And don't forget you can buy one of our new artists journals for only $5! We can't wait to see you tonight starting at 6:30pm at 208 State Street.

Other fun at Night Market includes Miller Floyd playing the main stage in the green space over by CatDaddy's Tavern Alton, vendor booths lining Sugar Alley all the way from the Welcome Center down to Morrison's Irish Pub, food vendors, shops open late, a second stage at our neighbor Mooneyham Art plus extra art vendors on State Street! Come on our to see us every Thursday in June and July.
